Hey! I’m actually going to leave this blank for a bit. I kept cringing when I read my old bio, so I deleted it. It definitely wasn’t doing me any favors. I’m not sure what past me was thinking. If you really want to know more about me I post to my insta stories about my personal life alllllllll the time, that’s probably where it’s most real. So, check that out until I can come up with a bio that isn’t cringy.

Eventually my parents taught me how to work their 35mm Minolta, that's right FILM.  It was love at first click.  I began to practice and play around photographing my cats, yes I'm the crazy cat lady haha.  In high school I took several of my classmate's senior photos, after that things kind of took off.  That ladies and gents is how Moments Photography by Kristy got started.  I moved to Green Bay from Plymouth, Wisconsin for school in 2005.  In 2008 I got my first DSLR and I continued shooting on the side while I completed my degree; I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in May of 2011 with a degree in all things nerdy. Seriously, ask me about it some time.

I secretly, well maybe not so secretly, love nerdy science jokes and am obsessed with the TV show The Office.   I am happily married to my amazing hubby, Joe.  We have been together over 10 years! Pure craziness, I guess time does fly when you're having fun!   We have a beautiful daughter, Ainsley, and an adorable son, Maxwell, whom we both adore.  When I'm not working my most favorite way to spend my time is playing with my babies and hanging out with the hubs.  I am also a bit of a Disney FREAK, our family loves Disney movies and taking a yearly vacation to Walt Disney World.

Some of you may remember me as Moments Photography by Kristy LLC, a few years ago we made a name switch. I’ve done some growing up and maturing and I just felt that I had outgrown the cheesy Moments Photography by Kristy LLC identity. While we are still operating under the business name Moments Photography by Kristy LLC we are using our legal trade name Kristin Reuter Photography.  Kristin Reuter Photography definitely is a better fit for our brand. Many have asked who I am as a photographer. I am a passionate, hopeless romantic and I live for sweet, candid, authentic moments.

I hate to admit it, but I fall in love with all my couples. I care about them so much and just want their day to be perfect, that is why I work my tail off to ensure they have their best day ever. I work tirelessly learning and always refining my skills so my clients can have the best. I love my job so much, I have a tendency to geek out a little when nailing the perfect image for my clients. I’m sure my past couples and clients can speak to this. I am also the photographer that cries at every wedding, especially during the vows and parent dances. Thank goodness for waterproof mascara!
