01. let’s get to know each other

You have a lot of choices for your wedding day photographer. Why choose our team? Many of our couples chose to work with us because they feel connected to us and our work. We’d love to sit down and get to know you as a couple. We only take up to 10 weddings per year to be able to provide a high level of service. We want to make sure we’re the perfect fit. Through our get-to-know-you consultation, we decide if you’re a great fit for the Kristin Reuter Photography Wedding Experience.

We meet in person with all of our couples before they even book us! Don't worry if you're not local or are a destination wedding couple, we can meet via Google Hangout or FaceTime.

02. let’s save the date

Alright, so we've gotten together and decided that we’re am a good fit to document your wedding day! Now it's time to save the date in our schedule!

At this point, we will have already given you a sample contract, but when it comes time to book we will send you an official online proposal with the collection and items that you've chosen. You can sign your proposal digitally as well as pay your retainer fee to reserve your date to make everything official.

Once that is taken care of you are OFFICIALLY a KRP bride/groom/nearlywed/celebrant.

03. engagement session

We keep things easy and fun for your Engagement Session! Choose your outfits, or I can help. After coordinating outfits, we decide the perfect location. The day of your session, bring your outfits, but leave the hair and makeup to the professionals! Yes, your own hair and makeup artist will glam you up. After, we meet at the session location. I’ll probably make a lame joke to start the session for some real smiles and candid emotions. Give me fifteen minutes, and even your partner who hates photos will be a pro and admit to having a good time. After the session, I post a sneak peek on Facebook, and once your photos are ready, you receive them via your photo link for you to enjoy and share.

04. pre-wedding meeting

About six weeks out from your wedding, I’ll send you an email letting you know it’s time to schedule your Pre-Wedding Meeting! One of the benefits of having been photographing weddings as long as I have is that I know exactly what information I need from you to make sure I can seamlessly photograph your big day.

At this meeting, we will go over things like the final timeline, your family photo list, any special photo requests, etc.

05. it’s the big day, your wedding day!

This is it! All the planning is done, and now it’s time to relax, celebrate, and let us document your best day ever! The nerves will turn to excitement, and the day will go by faster than you could ever have imagined. You can trust us to document the traditional details (think dress, rings, decor, and more) in a way that is unique and special to you, all the big moments (the ceremonial kiss, cake cutting, first dance, etc.), and everything in between (even grandma getting down on the dance floor).

After we will post a few sneak peeks on our Facebook, sometimes even the same night.

06. image reveal

You can typically expect all of your images back between two to four weeks. After this, we’ll schedule a time for your image reveal. At your reveal, you’ll get to see all of your wedding day images! On average, you’ll see 600-800 images for an all-day wedding. I’ll help you with ordering wall art and designing your album, should you choose to add those to your package. You’ll leave with the information to access your online gallery so you can share as you please.

Our wedding collections are designed as hybrid between packages and a la carte, allowing you to select what would best suit your needs and wants when it comes to documenting your love story. Your custom wedding coverage will always include our experience, expertise, and care ensuring your love story is carefully and thoughtfully documented. One of the things KRP love most about our pricing is that you lock in your hourly rate and are only required to lock in six hours to get started. You can add additional hours at any point for your locked in rate. Yes, even the day of the wedding.

Full Wedding Collections with Kristy begin at $4500 with the average investment falling between $6000 and $7000. We offer archive quality professional prints, canvases, and albums to perfectly display your love story. Each can be added to your Wedding Photography Collection a la carte. *We now offer payment plans ranging from 4-36 months based on the plan you get approved for.
